STERILE DENTAL OFFICE

Autoclaves in my dental offices, manufactured by leading companies Cominox and Melag, ensure your safety, providing sterilization of the tools at the highest level and ensuring the removal of all microorganisms responsible for transmission of infections.

Sterilization in a vacuum using steam at very high temperatures is by far the Bridge effective method of destroying all forms of bacteria.

Each process of sterilization is controlled with special tests, and efficiency of sterilization process is constantly monitored by a Sanepid facility.


X-RAY on site!

I carry out difficult cases of root canal treatment atthe dental office in Kiełczów, undersupen/ision of digital X-ray machinę MyRay, which allows for performingX-ray right on the chair and its immediate assessment on the Computer screen, without losing time for process of producing and saving X-ray image on the film. This modern equipment reduces the dose of radiation and thanks to that the X-ray diagnosis becomes much safer for the patient.


Endodontic treatment

For endodontic treatment, besides the manuał tools, I also use endodontic micromotors of VDW GOLD or W&H companies and the Bridge modern tools for measuring the length of root canal - endometers of VDW company V and VI generation. It is necessary for correct development and filling of the tooth canal.


Removal of tartar

For the removal of tartar, I use ultrasonic scaler manufactured by EMS company, which ensures painless removal of tartardepositsfrom teeth.

I remove teeth discolouration caused by smoking, drinking strong coffee, tea or colouring drinks (Coca-Cola, red winę) using dental sandblaster Air-Flow Handy Plus manufactured by EMS.


Wybielanie

W moich gabinetach przeprowadzam nowoczesne, jednowizytowe wybielanie zębów przy użyciu lampy wybielającej BT COOL +. Światło emitowane przez lampę przyśpiesza i wzmacnia działanie żelu wybielającego, nakładanego na zęby, pozwalając na wybielenie zębów w trakcie 1 wizyty nawet o 8-10 odcieni.

Wybielanie przy użyciu lampy LED przynosi takie same efekty jak w przypadku wybielania laserowego oraz nakładkowego. Jednak ta technika, w porównaniu do innych metod ma zalety- nie boli(jak laser), trwa tylko 1 godzinę(2 tygodnie wybielanie nakładkowe). W przypadku Bardzo silnego przebarwienia może okazać się, że zabieg nie spełnił oczekiwanego efektu. W takim wypadku proponuję dodatkową wizytę.


Teeth rebuilding

During restoration of teeth using composite materials, it is necessary to harden them using polymerisation lamp. My dental offices are equipped with modern LED polymerisation lamps Elipar FreeLight manufactured by 3M ESPE.


Diagnostics

Intraoral camera Einstein allows showing to the patient the condition of his teeth and gums on the monitor screen, explain the treatment plan and motivate patient to remember about better hygiene. Pentamix device manufactured by 3M mixes and dispenses uniform, free of air bubbles mass, guaranteeing the Bridge precise representation of prosthetic field, and thus providing a perfect fit of ready prosthetic work.


anesthesia

For stressed patients, I have to offer the latest achievement of anaesthesia techniques - Citoject™ and Computer anaesthesia Calaject™. This solution is years ahead of the traditional manners of anaesthesia. It’s absolutely painless, it does not scare patients with the appearance of needle, and after the application, the numbness of muscles around the tooth is not felt.

Application:

  • 1. anaesthesia of single teeth
  • 2. diagnosis of inflammatory conditions of the pulp
  • 3. recommended in patients with cardiovascular problems
  • 4. in treatment of children and people with disabilities

Advantages:

  • 1. smali dose of anaesthetic (approx. 1/8 of the does) - milder effect on cardiovascular system
  • 2. possibility of anaesthesia of single teeth in several quadrants during 1 visit
  • 3. immediate effect of anaesthesia (approx. 30 seconds)
  • 4. elimination of long-term numbness of anaesthetized region
  • 5. reduction of patient anxiety caused by a view of conventional syringe
  • 6. short duration of anaesthesia (approx. 30 minutes)

Carisolv Gel

For the treatment of the Bridge scared patients, both the little ones and grownups, I offer treatment with the use of CARISOLV™ GEL.

The first control visit in the dental office is recommended in the second half-year of child’s life (ideally between 6-9 month), which makes it possibleto check:

  • condition of the orał cavity and new teeth
  • condition of hygiene, correctness of performed procedures of cleaning child’s teeth
  • providing the parent with principles of early caries prevention

The second control visit is recommended between 12-15 month to determine the risk of early dental caries and depending on the diagnosis:


  • 1. Iow risk - no dental caries and correct dietary behaviours
  • 2. medium risk - not dental caries, but incorrect dietary and hygienic behaviours (presence of visible plaque)
  • 3. high risk - incorrect hygiene and presence of at least one cavity - mother is recommended specific rangę of procedures and control visits.

I use modern methods of treatment and materialsin my dental offices, which combined with professional experience, patience and contact skills with 2-year-old children, allow meto perform often highly complex treatments.

I achieve very good effects in treatment of both children and adults, thanks to the use of Carisolv™ Gel, which l’ve used in my patient sińce 1999.1 eliminate the need to traditional- ly process the tooth thanks to the use this treatment method.

The technology has been thoroughly tested and it’s safe. In comparison to whitening using halogen light, plasma light or laser, this method is painless. Several percent of patients may feel discomfort using whitening preparation (then we recommend usingthe lowest 10-percent concentration). Pregnant women or people with gum diseases should consult a doctor. The whitening lamp allows achieving effect of whitened teeth in every person, and especially in persons whose teeth have been covered by residue from drinking coffee, tea or smoking cigarettes. Satisfactory whitening effect is achieved even in the case of teeth discoloured by tetracycline or other medication. Test results prove that on average, it provides the effect of whitening by 8 shades. Similarly as we all have different teeth, the effects of whitening will also differ. To check the effects, it’s best to conductcontrol examination before and after whitening-with determination of teeth shades. Change of colourcan beseen immediately after the treatment. Whitening is not effective in the case of crowns, prostheses and veneers. Results achieved after illumination with LED lamps are better, than in the case of other whitening systems. With proper teeth care, the effect is maintained for two years, depend- ing on the individual case. Smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee or tea may restore the previous colour of teeth. Stopping or limiting the smoking of cigarettes, drinking coffee or tea, and regular dentist control visits will help to keep your bright teeth colour.

Both for me and my patients, the Carisolv™ Gel, which l’ve been using in my practice sińce 1998, is an alternative method to the traditional drilling in the cases, when together (doctor and patient) we decide to use gentler and less invasive Solutions. Since the construction of first hand-driven drill by Morisson in 1870, of course a lot has changed. Its structure has been improved, the number of revolutions has been increased (currently the turbinę reaches 460,000 rpm) and new types of drills and materials have been introduced. However, the idea of this method has remained the same - caries tissue must be removed mechanically with the use of drill. Since we were able to treat the caries, we also searched for non-invasive method, which would spare healthy tissue of the tooth. At the beginning of 1997, a new system emerged, developed by Swedish scientists, which could chemo-mechanically remove the caries - it was called Carisolv™. It’s a result of development of liquid for caries removal Carisolution™, which was developed in 1973 and wasn’t introduced to the market due to economic reasons. Development of Carisolv™ method resulted in possibility to remove caries as fast as in traditional method, but in addition with all advantages, which are offered by minimally invasive method. To this day, many studies have been performed proving that treatment of caries with the use of Carisolv™ preparation leaves the dentine surface free of caries. This system allows for removal of caries tissues without the use of rotary instruments and significantly decreases the risk of complications (exposure of pulp). The dentistry of minimal invasiveness includes procedures oriented biologically. The teeth are treated with precision and care, so that they would bemaintained as longas possible without post-treatment complications, whilemeetingthe requirementsof modern patients. By using Carisolv™ method, which is based on removal of caries using gel, you get as close as possible to procedures of minimal invasiveness in the context of available modern treatments. Carisolv™ method includes the use of gel, which reacts selectively to demineralised collagen to soften dentine that was changed by caries. To remove the softened caries, we use specially designed hand and mechanicaltools. Traditional Processing of cavity, air abrasion or othersimilartechniquesare used only if there’s required access to the caries.

Indications for the use of Carisolv™ method:

  • deep caries
  • root caries
  • children caries
  • secondary caries (of course after prior removal of filling)
  • superficial caries and whereverthere’s access to the centre of caries, it may be used in compilation with traditional preparation of cavity during work using dental unit

Advantages:

  • Well-documented method in studies conducted at universities all overthe world.
  • Minimally invasive, selective and precise.
  • Minimizes the need to use the drill and anaesthesia, and it improve the patienfs comfort.
  • Enables to avoid mechanical tooth processing near the pulp.
  • Carisolv™tools help to protect healthy tissues of the tooth thanksto a sharp, but set at right angle edges, which do not cut healthy dentine.

Carisolv™- clinical procedures:

  • 1. Gel does not affect the healthy dentine or the soft tissue. It does not damage enamel. Consequently, the Carisolv™should be used in combination with necessary mechanical Processing.
  • 2. Sometimes, during providing access to the caries, it’s necessary to traditionally drill the tooth. Carisolv™ provides the possibility to morę efficiently, in comparison to conventional method, process the tooth in the case of deep caries. This method minimizes the chance of damaging“nerve” and the need to carry out endodontic treatment.
  • 3. After applying gel to caries, it’s necessary to wait 30 seconds until the dentine destroyed by caries will soften.
  • 4. Soften caries can be safely scraped off using Carisolv™ hand tools.
  • 5. Action described in section 3 and 4 is repeated without waiting period of 30 seconds, until the cavity is free of caries.
  • 6. After verification, the cavity is filled with composite.

This method does not replace the drill completely, but it’s painless or almost painless and it conserves healthy tooth tissue, which is significant especially during processing of secondary cavities, where tooth structuresarealready weakened. Specially constructed Carisolv™ tools used in this method are sharp, but their angle istoo smali for deep cutting of the tooth to occur. This provides easy control of the working depth and prevents damage of healthy tooth issue not soften by gel. This method belongs to non-traumatic methods and it’s compatible with the development of dentistry aimed at the patient, as well as WHO guidelines adopted by Poland in the context of health protection plan.

It’s worth noting that sińce 2001 the Carisolv™ method has been included in obligatory teaching program forstudents of dentistry facultiesat universities in Poland.
